Ripley Music Festival is an event which has been held in this small Derbyshire town, annually since 2001. Essentially, the event takes place over the second week in July and sees a wide range of musical productions / performances held at many different venues around the town, culminating in a weekend of entertainment delivered from a live stage in Crossley Park.

Most of the events are FREE for anyone to attend, but this means that the committee hold feeder events, year round, to help fund the main festival.

The most frequent of these is the weekly 'Band Jam' at The Hollybush, Marehay, on Sundays from 8pm. Everyone is welcome; bands, individuals, no need to book if you want to play, or just come to watch. There is a PA, guitar / bass amplifiers and full drum kit.

Ripley Music Festival would like to thank Dave and Lorraine of The Holly Bush inn at Marehay, for their continued support and hosting so many of our events. We would like to thank all of their staff for putting up with us, too. Thanks guys.

The Holly Bush is a really friendly, local freehouse. They have a great selection of beers and real ales, including those brewed on-site at The Little Bush Brewery, which are exclusively available at the pub. The Holly Bush is also renowned for its fantastic home cooked food. Contact them on 01773 570830 to make a reservation.

For their continued sponsorship and support, the RMF committee would like to extend a big thank you to the following....
